SST Burlington Guidelines post Covid-19 lockdown restrictions

SST Burlington follows the guidelines and advice provided by the government of Ontario and the city of Burlington. We will be assessing operations and schedules on a month-to-month basis as the pandemic continues to unfold.

Our information and guidelines will be constantly updated as we learn and research the best possible ways to ensure safe and effective ways to provide our members with the highest possible standard of training.

Together we will keep our SST family safe and healthy.

  • Lysol wipes will be placed around the gym for members to use before and after the use of equipment.
  • We encourage members to wash hands during rest periods.
  • Cleaning of shared workstations such as the reception desk and seating area as well as doorhandles for our own protection. (surfaces, keyboard, mouse etc.)
  • Communication

Pleasedo not hesitate to communicate with our team as and when you require additional information. Our goal is provide a safe training environment for all.
You can do this directly at the facility, via email - Brittany Skinner, or by phone.

While some people may be (understandably) nervous, health authorities recommend people continue normal preventive measures, which include staying current on vaccines, be sure to continue follow a healthful diet, and exercising regularly. Unless social distancing measures (those that require avoiding crowded places, such as school closures or restrictions on public gatherings) are implemented, getting in a workout is healthy and safe. Fortunately for us, there is no medical or scientific evidence to suggest that the coronavirus is transmissible via sweat.

We are so excited to have our SST family back at the gym and enjoying our fantastic new facility.
